MARC's 14th
Annual Business Advisory Council Breakfast and Awards Celebration was
held recently at Middlesex Community College. The guest
speaker was Marc Mercadante, Regional Director of the
Special Olympics, Eastern Region. MARC honors
businesses and schools that work with people with disabilities and
honors outstanding employees, teachers and students every year. |

The Business Advisory Council is
made up of a group of local business men and women who volunteer not only
their time, but their expertise with job leads, referrals, tracking
current labor market trends and networking within the business community.
As the BAC grows we hope it is also a valuable tool for business people to
network and make business contacts.
The Business Advisory Council at
MARC meets bi-monthly from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at our Administrative
Building in Portland and a continental breakfast is served. If you are
interested in joining MARC's Business Advisory Council please contact Amy
Meckensturm at (860) 635-5151 x 311.
