Residential Programs

In order to promote independent living, MARC offers residential programs that are not only designed to support the individual needs of persons who live there but comply with their preferences as well. Our goal is to help our people live with comfort and dignity in community settings with whatever support they need. Self-respect and quality of life go hand-in-hand in achieving this goal.

Community Living Arrangements
MARC manages group homes to help individuals establish themselves in a neighborhood setting. Participants attend to the physical upkeep of their homes, with support, as needed, from full-time staff. They enjoy mainstream living: shopping, banking, planning for vacations, cultivating friendships and fully participating in the community.
--Networking and friendships build within the surrounding community, promoted by special events and church groups. This is truly a family atmosphere that not only enhances quality of living, it promotes much needed understanding as well.

Supported Living
The Supported Living program makes possible even more opportunities for individual choice and self-development. Through the support of our dedicated staff, participants are enabled to live in the community in their own apartments, with or without roommates. They can rely on help when it comes to managing bills, shopping, meal planning, and regular monitoring for their needs.

Home Ownership
Thanks to the progressive efforts of public policy makers, MARC has made this part of the American Dream available to people with disabilities since 1933. Through our support team, we provide accommodations designed to overcome barriers that might otherwise seem insurmountable.
