MARC offers a number of important services to make viable employment an ongoing reality.

Supported Employment Program:
Designed for people at least 21 years old who choose to work in the community. We provide:

  • Pre-employment assistance and training.
  • Transportation assistance.
  • Full- and part-time employment.
  • Entry-level and skilled positions.
  • Job Placement.
  • Job Coaching and follow-up.
  • Employment sites based on choice and interest.
  • Crews ranging from 2 to 8 people.
  • Paid piece rate or hourly wage.
  • An emphasis on community inclusion.

Pre-Employment Assistance:
Designed for people looking for employment. Training is provided by a professional placement facilitator. This program includes the following:

  • Resume writing.
  • Interviewing skills.
  • Dressing for success.
  • Vocational screening.
  • Career development.
  • Application assistance.
  • Classified ad search assistance.

Situational Assessment Program:
Provides work skill assessment and career evaluation to help develop job performance.

  • On-site supervision.
  • Comprehensive assessment tools.
  • Transportation assistance.
  • Bureau of Rehabilitation Services contracts.

Competitive Employment Program:
Helps find competitive jobs in local businesses.

  • Full- & part-time employment.
  • Entry-level & skilled positions.
  • One-to-one training.
  • Follow-up support.
  • Pre-employment assistance & training.
  • Minimum wage or better.
  • Public transportation assistance.

School-to-Life Transition Program
A full services vocational training and work experience for special education students, aged 15 to 21. School to life transition can also be non-vocational or only part vocational.

  • Paid and unpaid assessments.
  • Written evaluations.
  • Participation in PPT and IEP goals.
  • Graduation transition to work.
